Solarpunk Israel

A tourism ad for Israel on its 109th birthday, made for The Circle: Designing New Realities, an exhibition about circular design. The film uses the language of a Ministry of Tourism promo to imagine a solarpunk future, one where the country builds on what it already has instead of tearing it down.

Old bunkers are full of kids and community life. Buildings seed clouds and bring rain to the Makhtesh, and fresh water flows back into the Dead Sea. Some of this is already being built today and some is still fiction, and the film keeps the line between them blurry on purpose. It was made entirely with AI tools, with close control over light, color and camera movement so the world feels warm and familiar rather than rendered.
